It is the pinnacle of baroque keyboard art and is described as the Everest of keyboard players, demanding the utmost in technique and musicality.Lan-Lan has been exploring this masterpiece for more than 20 years, during which time he has been inspired by great predecessors such as Eschenbach and Arnoncourt, and deepened his own interpretation by exchanging ideas with Andreas Steyer, the greatest harpsichordist of our time, in preparation for this recording, which he has decided to make with full confidence. After recovering from a broken arm and getting married, he achieved further human and musical maturity and reached a new stage of his artistry. So, through the \"Golberg Variations,\" I have stepped into new territory and fully immersed myself in this project. My goal as a performer is to become more self-aware and intelligent, while at the same time continuing to inspire others.
