Simon & Garfunkel's "Bookends" (released 1968) is reissued on Mobil Fidelity's MoFi SuperVinyl, a masterpiece released in '68 with a striking black-and-white jacket photographed by Richard Avedon. This album was produced by S&G for the first time with Roy Harry, who carefully expanded the musical scope to bring out the emotion and spirit of the songs. The first half of the album is conceptual in nature, depicting a variety of people living in American society.
