The amazing thing is that Kachika reproduced the violin's technique on the flute. In the first movement, from the cadenza to the recapitulation, Kachika tangs each note and expresses it beautifully on the flute, whereas the violin uses a spiccato technique to make the bow bounce. This astonishing performance is a must-hear! The D minor Violin Concerto was composed when Mendelssohn was 13 years old, and Yehudi Menuhin revived it in 1951. This work has been recorded by Mullova and others, but there are not many performances or recordings of this work, so it is very rare and valuable. Nadzhicki's supple performance of this work by the genius Mendelssohn is a pleasure to listen to. Finally, the famous work from the collection of mute songs for violin and flute is included.You won't want to miss this one! Nadzhitski is a talented player who has won top prizes at the Khachaturian International Music Competition (2010) and the Yascha Heifetz International Competition (2000), among others.
