Aline Van Barentzen
Description:
Aline Van Balenzen, a fantastic pianist who has only been known to a few piano enthusiasts, was born in Somerville, Massachusetts, USA, in 1897, and her real name is Aline Isabelle Hoyle. Van Balenzen is her mother's maiden name. From the 1920s to the 1930s, she was extremely popular in Europe, especially in Paris, where she was a cultural figure who interacted with various cultural figures. In 2014, melo CLASSIC released his broadcast recordings on a single CD, but this time there are two CDs, all of which are rare and wonderful. The most notable is Debussy's "The Child's Domain" from 1960.The performance, with its graceful and beautiful tone shimmering and soaring, is a flower of its time, because it is a flower of the era that knows the Belle Époque and Les Zanées Folle firsthand. Anyone who hears this will be instantly awed by the splendor of Barentzin. Grace is a major characteristic of Ballenzin's music, and she adds even more passion to Schumann's "Symphonic Exercises" and a feminine softness to "Children's Scenes". The two Beethoven sonatas are also superb. This is a superb CD that will allow you to understand at once the art of Barenzen, which until now has been shrouded in mystery. Tobu Shoji Co.
