Crossing the border between "Italian music" and "Hungarian music," which have different cultural and historical backgrounds, Quintetto Anemos, an Italian woodwind ensemble, presents a program that intersects the music of both countries. From Italy, a woodwind quintet version of "Pupazzetti," composed for piano duo by Casella, one of the leading figures in the revival of instrumental music in Italy, and later arranged into a chamber orchestra version by the composer himself, which is now performed in a variety of formations. Farkas's "Old Hungarian Dances of the 17th Century," which has close ties with Italy.
