The Polish National Chopin Institute's own label, NIFC, has released a new guitar album! The guitar version of Chopin's Mazurka is combined with two pieces by Chopin's contemporaries, "Variations on La chi dalem" and "Variations on Dombrowski's Mazurka (Polish State "Poland is not yet destroyed")", and the guitar works of Polish Romanticism are also included. The collection is a collection of Polish Romantic guitar works. The collection features works by such great guitarists as Stanislaw Szczepanowski, the "King of Guitar" who played for Queen Victoria of England; Marek Sokowski, the "Babylon of Guitar"; and Jan Nepomzen Bobrowicz, who was called the "Chopin of Guitar" by Franz Liszt. The works of these Polish composers, all of whom were also great guitar virtuosos, bring the unfamiliar image of "Poland and the guitar" together. All of Chopin's arrangements are also by Bobrowicz, and are guitar transcriptions that were arranged and performed in the same period.Performed by a young Polish virtuoso guitarist who graduated at the top of his class from the Chopin University of Music, made his debut at the Musikverein Vienna and Shanghai Grand Theater at the age of 23, and won the EuroStrings International Guitar Competition (a competition of competition winners from around Europe) in 2019, Mateusz Kowalski.
