Jan Ladislaw Dusik (1760-1812), a Bohemian musician of the 18th century, is well known here in Japan for his "Sonatina Album. In addition to his achievements as a musician, he was suspected of assassinating King Ekaterina II, eloped with Krumwolz's wife (Krumwolz, pessimistic about this, committed suicide by throwing himself into the Seine River), and launched a publishing business in London, which failed. Marek Toporowski, who plays two Anton Walter model pianos (period pianos) built by Robert Brown in 2004 and 2016, is an old musician who founded the Polish old music ensemble Concerto Polocka in 1991.He is a master musician who won the first prize at the 1st Wanda Landowska International Harpsichord Competition held in Krakow in 1985, and is regarded as one of the most important figures in the revival of ancient music in Poland.
