A collection of covers dedicated to Mike Oldfield, who celebrates his 50th anniversary in 2023, featuring composer/recorder player Leslie "LES" Penning, who showcased his impressive tone on "OMMADAWN" (1975), one of Mike's best-known albums, and on "Cuckoo Song" (1977), a single that was not included on the album. LES" Penning, Tom Newman, widely known as the engineer of Mike's works including "TUBULAR BELLS", Barry Palmer, who sang on the hit single "Crime Of Passion" in 1984, and many other musicians who have worked with Mike. Robert Reed, the leader of MAGENTA, a band that leads the current British melodic rock scene and has already released a number of solo works in a style influenced by Mike, and Hubert Reed, who participated in TUBULAR BELLS' reworked cover project: TUBULAR TUBULAR BELLS is a collective of musicians who have been greatly influenced by Mike, including Hubert Razack, Manu Herrera, and Ruben Alvarez, who also participated in TUBULAR WORLD,THE TUBULAR ALL STARS' '23 is here! Not only famous songs like 'Tubular Bells', 'Ommadawn', 'Platinum', 'Crime Of Passion', but also rare songs like 'Early Stages', 'Mike's Reel', 'In The Pool', which are B-side songs of singles, are featured. The selection of songs from a maniacal point of view is one of the highlights of the album. The mood of the original songs is respected while each musician's color and rich ideas are effectively added, making this album a must-see for Mike Oldfiled fans!
