Description:

The first full-length album in about 4 years based on the main theme of the unfinished science fiction novel "Emptiness Corridor" by novelist Sakyo Komatsu! The album is the first full-length album in about four years, featuring the unfinished science fiction novel "Emptiness Corridor" by Sakyo Komatsu. A concept album based on the themes of "science fiction" and "special effects. The final track, "Pilgrimage," is over 14 minutes long and is a must-listen for progressive rock fans! This is a conceptual masterpiece by leader Daichi Takagi, who is well versed not only in music but also in a variety of other things. In recent years, he has been engaging in many different kinds of exchanges with the objects of his interest and respect. He takes the ideas he gets there and materializes them into a metal Ebisu. He is a formidable man. One might imagine that personal interests, especially those in a toy box or a collection case, would be miscellaneous when turned directly into music, but the sounds that emerge are mostly 70s royal rock, and since the sounds also reflect what he particularly likes, they create a special effect that is "fun to listen to. This may be the root of Metal Ebisu, which swallows all kinds of sounds. This is the first full-length album in four years since "The Fall of the Takeda Family," and is structured similarly, with the first half being a complete concept work and the second half being related songs and other material. In addition, for the first time, both albums were produced by the same members. The album contains 9 songs in total. (The "Emptiness Corridor Opening Theme" is a keyboard-driven instrumental. It is intended to be a song like the opening of a movie. The song "Ma Shoujo A" was influenced by Damian Hamada's Creatures, the band of His Majesty Damian Hamada, the founder of St. Kangama II, in which all the members of Metal Ebisu participate. The participation is properly absorbed. (*A is from the initials of Angela Ingeborg who appears in the novel.) The song "Moth Lamp" is full of 70's taste, influenced by Black Sabbath, Genesis, and so on. Artificial Existence" is a song that challenged the challenge of singing an 80's song melody with a 70's prog rock arrangement. The "Empty Corridor Ending Theme" is a synthesizer instrumental with a science fiction feel. The "ending theme" was created for the "unfinished masterpiece" to conclude the story in terms of music. The song "The Boy Who Disappeared Into the Starry Sky" is the first song that Watanabe Uchuaki, at the age of 96, gave his first compositional direction. It has the atmosphere of the special effects theme songs of yesteryear. Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah Main Title" is a prog-range cover of a song from the "Godzilla" series, arranged in a contemporary style reminiscent of ELP. Composed by Akira Ifukube. Urameshiya" is from the pen of drummer Masuhiro Goto. It is a refreshingly cool piece reminiscent of the Masuhiro songs performed by Ningen Chair in the past. Pilgrimage" is a suite of over 14 minutes. The development of the music is thrilling, as if on a pilgrimage through the history of King Crimson. The commentary is by Watanabe Hiroaki, a legendary composer in the world of anime special effects who sadly passed away at the age of 96, although he was famous for "Mazinger Z" and other works. It was written three months before his death.
