Description:
The bass undulates like ink running over an ink painting, and the beats are tribal. This is the first album by Yang, an electronic musician who takes his name from the ink painting artist Sesshu Yang. While retaining a hint of caricatured folk music in the style of the performing arts Yamashiro-gumi, Yang seeks something more virtual and identifies with the tribal beats radicalized in the background music of games such as "EVERGRACE" and "GARAGE". At the same time, he is also heavily influenced by domestic dub such as GOTH-TRAD, and even swallows the aesthetic of 54-71's "ska-core" with a "hardness" of his own.
