Description:

Inogen is the only daughter of Cymbeline, King of ancient Britain. She marries her childhood friend Posthumus without her father's permission, which angers the king and her husband Posthumus is banished to Italy. Postumas boasts of his wife in Italy. His friend Iarchimonte says he will show her how to seduce Inogen, and goes off to Britain. She refuses, of course, but Iarchimo devises a plan and sneaks into the bedroom behind his bag... A husband suspects his wife of infidelity, and his wife struggles to get rid of it. A husband who suspects his wife of infidelity, a wife who struggles to get rid of it, and mysterious hunters who help her. The various characters are intertwined, and several stories proceed in parallel in this play typical of Shakespeare. The King's daughter is often referred to as "Imogen," but Inogen is used here.
