The album features Bartók's famous "Kontrasts" based on Hungarian and Romanian dances, Khachaturian's Orientalist triplet based on an Armenian folk song, the delicate and beautiful Adagio movement of Berg's chamber concerto, Milhaud's suite with a touch of jazz influence, and the final piece Stravinsky's "A Soldier's Tale.
