Yoko Ueno and Katsushi Matsuda also appear on some of the tracks.\nAlthough this album was released on CD in 2001, the sound derived from the LP—which had been played until it was worn out—was full of noise, and Kira wrote in the CD liner notes, “I hope you’ll enjoy that as part of its charm.”\n\nMore than 25 years later, a remastered edition—in which the scratch noise has been removed as much as possible—has been completed under the guidance of Yasushi Utsunomiya, often referred to as a “sound magician.”\nThe remaining LP was digitized using a technique called “underwater playback,” and after five months of manual noise removal and meticulous remastering, the “original sound” that Tomohiko Kira created in the studio has been beautifully recreated.\nWhen you play it, please listen closely before the song begins.
