One of C'Avi-music's classic series of live recordings of the Spanungen Music Festival. The Spanungen Music Festival, under the artistic direction of renowned German pianist Lars Folkert, is a chamber music festival held annually in June in Heimbach, western Germany. This album features sextets by Mendelssohn and Penderecki from the 2016 program. The ensemble features a stellar lineup, including Elisabet Kufferath of the Tetzlaff Quartet and pianist Danae Derken, whose talent was discovered by Menuhin. Tokyo M-Plus
