A highly mature and creative performance by young violinist David Nebel with a new sensibility. Born in Zurich, David Nebel began playing the violin at the age of five. The New Zurich Newspaper praised him as "a child prodigy whose future prospects are assured. He studied at the Zurich Conservatory and later in Vienna with Boris Kushnir and in Graz with Jarl Kress, and in 2013 he was a founding member of the LGT Young Soloists, a group of talented young string artists between the ages of 13 and 23, founded at the initiative of conductor Alexander Gilman. As a member of the LGT Young Soloists, he has toured Europe and Asia numerous times, winning the 2014 Valcesia Musica International Competition in Italy as the youngest winner, and the 2015 Istvan Kertesz Competition in Switzerland. She was selected as soloist and premiered Gediminas Galgotas' Violin Concerto No. 1 (2018) with Christian Järvi and the Baltic Sea Philharmonic Orchestra at the 2018 Kissingen Summer Music Festival.Today, as a soloist, she combines technical brilliance with mature musicianship and an unmistakable tone. His open sensibility has led him to concentrate on contemporary music in his repertoire, and he intentionally performs works beyond his standard program as a violinist. Nebel says, "We must not forget that music is increasingly developing throughout history.
