A conceptual album on the theme of the myth of Orpheus by the noble countertenor Philip Jaroussky. This new recording by the star of the world's phenomenal popularity as a modern countertenor is based on the beautiful myth of Orpheus. The aria from the opera "Orfeo" composed by three Baroque composers [Antonio Sartorio (1630-1680), Claudio Monteverdi (1567-1680), and Luigi Rossi (C.1597-1653)] is an aesthetic song world with an overwhelmingly beautiful voice. The aria will be performed as Euridice. Emeke Barat, a native of Hungary, won the first prize at the 2011 Innsbruck International Vocal Competition for Old Music, and since then has received rave reviews from various opera houses and baroque operas. Barato is scheduled to visit Japan in November 2017 to perform with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra.
