It can be considered the vanguard of a genre that was all the rage in Saxony during the 1720s and 1730s.\nIn RV553, which employs four violins—all sharing a similar timbre—as soloists, the soloists frequently split into two groups to engage in dialogue, creating a captivating interplay.
