Conrad Hansen (1906-2002), a German pianist who, like his teacher, was highly acclaimed for his Beethoven, was a great disciple of Edwin Fischer. In particular, only a few Beethoven piano sonatas have survived. It is a great pleasure that four recordings from German broadcast recordings (all probably for the first time) are now available on a single CD.
