The debut album by Kai Thomas, a rising star treble (boy soprano) from Wales who is now 12 years old, is now available from Rubicon Classics in the UK! Kai Thomas, now living in Farnham, England, began singing at the age of seven at St. Thomas' Church, Bourne, Farnham, and was recognized for his pure, clear voice, releasing his debut single, "Suo-Gan" (a famous Welsh lullaby), at the age of 12. She was a finalist in BBC Radio 2's Young Chorister of the Year 2019. Support was then raised through crowdfunding and other means to produce their debut album "Seren". Seren" means star in Welsh and is expected to be a star singer in 2020.The program is a varied selection of favorites, including masterpieces by Faure, Handel, and Mozart, works by popular contemporary composers such as Esenwals and Aura Yairo, musical numbers from "Les Miserables," and two Welsh folk songs, including "Soogan. The orchestra, choir, ensemble, and former boy soprano Axel Rikvin will perform with Kai Thomas, and the compositions and arrangements will be carefully chosen to showcase Kai Thomas' pure voice and rich talent from a variety of angles.
