The long-awaited solo album by the baritone virtuoso Katrina Marzella. Eleven years after her last album "Katrina" (EGON SFZ144), her second album is finally released. Hermann Berstad's "Napoli," which opens the album, shows off his outstanding technique. In "The Lark Singing in the Clear Sky," the baritone tone is so clear and transparent that it sounds as if the lark is singing. Robert Eaves' "One September Morning" features Edward Gregson as guest conductor, and he and flugelhorn player Zoe Lovatt-Cooper perform a wonderful duet in perfect harmony. In Peter Graham's baritone concerto, "Turbulence, Tide & Torque," Katrina's baritone sound has not only sparkle, but also depth and warmth, and you will be able to feel the richness of the variations in her baritone tone.
