UK electro-pop band Metronomy has announced a deal with Ninja Tune and released a new song "Nice Town" featuring New York-based trumpeter and rapper Pan Amsterdam on a limited-edition 12". The song is the first single from the forthcoming "Posse EP" series. Metronomy is popular worldwide for its eclectic indie electronic pop music with a twist. Featuring New York-based trumpet player and rapper Pan Amsterdam, this track is the first single from the upcoming "Posse EP" series, and will be released on the upcoming "Posse EP" series, which will include tracks by Big Pig (Biig Piig), Spill Tab (Spill Tab), Sorry ( Sorry, Brian Nasty, and Folly Group.Metronomy founder and frontman Joseph Mount had this to say about the exciting project. "Mostly we send out folders of beat ideas and see what comes back. Some artists try to play around with a few tracks, others try to focus on just one thing. In the case of Pan Amsterdam, it was the latter, and when I heard what came back from him, I thought, 'Oh, wow.' It's an old-school rap track, but in Pan's case, he's not only a rapper, he's also a great jazz trumpeter who works with Iggy Pop." Nice Town" is about my own battles.
