Simple tones from acoustic guitar, piano, and electric piano float, colored by natural reverberation, while Tim Delaney’s upright bass—featured throughout—accompanies them, creating a melancholic yet warm sound that gently envelops the listener. Built with the bare minimum of acoustic sounds, the album is extremely serene, yet the song structures and accents are exquisite; you never tire of listening to it—rather, you find yourself drawn in deeper and deeper.
