S. Bach's Three Romances with piano accompaniment at Town Hall, also in New York City. (Ferrier sadly passed away at the young age of 41 due to illness three years after this Bach recording.) The live recordings were made by the Carnegie Hall Recording Company from the 1940s to the 1960s, and were recorded in a way to preserve the sound quality as close as possible to the original recordings, without removing unnecessary noise. The live recordings were naturally remastered to preserve the sound quality as close as possible to the original recordings. The booklet contains a detailed description of the recording and remastering process, as well as comments from Ferrier. Tracks 1 and 8 also include a rare interview with Walter.
