Fifteen years after their previous original album, the Robinson brothers release their tenth studio album, Happiness Bastards. Some might say the project has had a tumultuous few years, but we insist it has returned at the best possible time. The long-awaited album celebrating the reunion of this legendary band may be the one that saves rock and roll, as The Black Crowes put the fury of unspoken words to paper and let the electricity radiate from the guitar strings in a stripped-down, gritty rock and roll. It's gritty, loud rhythm & blues itself, without gloss or shimmer.Since The Black Crowes reunited in 2019, they have played more than 150 shows spanning 20 countries around the world. They celebrated the 30th anniversary of their triumphant return and the album that inspired it, Shake Your Money Maker.Upon returning from tour, they decided they needed something new for their lost time, so the Robinson brothers and longtime bassist Sven Pipien headed into the studio with producer Jay Joyce in early 2023, where the band found their way back to their roots As they went along, they transcribed their past experiences through their music. Finally, the finished product, Happiness Bastards, is released.
