Gershwin's "Three Preludes," a solo piano piece, has many jazz elements, while Bernstein's "Clarinet Sonata," a jazz-influenced piece with lots of syncopation, is a classic with jazz influences. Bernstein's "Clarinet Sonata," a piece that combines classical and jazz, is selected, as is Bernstein's syncopated, jazz-influenced "Clarinet Sonata. Included are original clarinet works and arrangements. François Benda's ancestor was Franz Benda, a member of the Benda family, a Bohemian musical family in the service of King Frederick II of Prussia. François has worked extensively as a soloist, beginning as a clarinetist with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich in 1988. Sebastian Benda, piano, is François' father. Tobu Land Systems
