Description:

2CD release of Strange, derived and evolved from an odd disc released in Germany in 1977! Bonus tracks from 1977 are also included! Lothar Jahn's "February '75" single was released in 1977 on the German label Sound Records. A very unusual record, somewhere between psychedelic, folk, and krautrock, it was reviewed by Discogs thusly. "A mystical journey through cosmic psychedelic folk kraut, if you can call it that. Fantastic from start to finish. The newly recorded album, Dreams of '75, expands on the riffs of the original single, using that little vision as a starting point to plunge into a three-dimensional psychedelic/progressive headspace that is stranger and wilder than was apparent (or possible) on the original single Lothar Jahn is a singer-songwriter, host, and multi-instrumentalist who has been active on the German music scene since the early 1970s.He was a member of the German rock band PTHR and later joined the folk band JAW-BONE. His musical interests seem to range from rock, folk, chanson, and historical music performance. He is considered a specialist in the field of medieval music and has also been responsible for the web platform Minnesang.com for many years. On this album, he plays almost every instrument known to mankind. Accordion, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Bodhran, Sister, Chimes, Cruz, Dobro, Domel, Double Guitar, Double Harp, Dulcimer, E Drum, Electric Guitar, Electric Piano, Frame Drum, Fiddle, Glockenspiel, Grand Piano, Geyerleier, Hammond organ, harmonica, jukebox, lyre, Mahler, harmonica.Jukebox, lyre, marimbaphone, mandolin, melodica, Moorish lute, one string lute, percussion, noise and voice, reed organ, bagpipes and bourdon sampling, mellotron sampling, Spanish guitar, synthesizer, 12 string guitar, vibraphone The result is a very strangely psychedelic and psychedelic sounding piece with a very medieval feel. The result is a strangely psychedelic sound world. The album is limited to 125 copies outside of Germany and includes 6 bonus tracks, including the single "February '75" released on Sound Records in Germany in 1977.
