Bandleader Papo Lucca was in charge of arrangements and played piano, vibraphone, and concert mistress, as well as a trumpet solo on \"Las Lenguas (by Justy Barreto)\".Among the hits that emerged from the album were \"Juana Bayona,\" an electric salsa song written by Puerto Rican vocalist Miguelito Ortiz; \"Ecue Baroni,\" a rousing guaganco song with African influences; and \"Las Mujeres Son de Azucar,\" a sweet salsa song written by poet Tite Curlet Alonso.
