"Welcome to Shepherd's Bush," Mick Jagger declares." I've been looking forward to saying this for a while now." The release commemorates the 25th anniversary of the June 8, 1999 show at the London/Shepherd's Bush Empire. The show was held in secret before the Wembley Stadium show at a small live venue of about 1,800 people. The band performed "Moon Is Up" from "Voodoo Lounge" (the only performance so far), "Melody" from "Black and Blue" (the only other time the band performed the song was at Toronto's famous El Mocambo in 1977, over 20 years ago), and "Voodoo Lounge" (the only time the band performed it at a concert at the famous El Mocambo in Toronto). Brand New Car" from "Voodoo Lounge" (performed only seven times live, the last time in 2002), and many other rare songs that are not usually performed at this show.
