Description:
Linus Roth & Petrito Cech! Playing "The Four Seasons" on violin and guitar! The astonishing Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" is now available with only one guitar as accompaniment! This project was realized when violinist Linus Roth approached guitarist Petrito Čech with the idea of performing the piece at the Ibiza Music Festival, which he founded. Roth made numerous visits to Croatia, where Ček was giving several concerts, to perfect this difficult arrangement, which was premiered at the festival at the end of the summer of 2023 to great success. After that, invitations to perform this innovative "The Four Seasons" came in from all over the world, and after each performance, the two felt that the music was gaining in depth and richness, so they decided to record the piece. Expect an outstanding performance of one of the most daring and seemingly crazy arrangements of "The Four Seasons," a jewel of chamber music sound created from exhaustive research.Linus Roth, born in 1977, who studied with Zakhar Bron and Salvatore Accardo, won the ECHO Classical Award for Best New Artist for his debut album released by EMI in 2006, and in 2017, he was selected for the ECHO Classical Award again for his album with the London Symphony conducted by Thomas Sanderlink He is one of the leading violinists of his generation, having been selected again for the ECHO Classical Award for his album with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Thomas Sanderlinck in 2017. He is especially well known internationally for his special contribution to the popularization of the works of Mieczyslaw Weinberg. Petrito Ček, a young guitarist from Kosovo, who has won the first prize at the Parkening International Guitar Competition in the United States, the Pittaluga International Classical Guitar Competition in Italy, and other competitions, has released a number of works on the Eudora label, including J.S. Bach's "Suite for Solo Cello" in a "solo guitar version" and the "Schubert Lieder Arrangements and Hymns" in an "unaccompanied cello version". He has released an album of arrangements and homages to Schubert's songs on the Eudora label, and is one of the most notable guitarists from Eastern Europe and the former Yugoslavia, which has produced many outstanding guitarists.
