Minmoa, a band with a distinctive folk-rock to soft psychedelic sound and unique worldview, releases its long-awaited second full-length album "ki ku kibou" from Stella, a label headed by Soichiro Suzuki (World Standard). The album features melodic songs with diverse influences from 70's SSW/folk, new age, psychedelic/experimental, and Brazilian minas, as well as a raw, live sound with soft psychedelic elements developed from the previous album. The new Minmor sound, acquired through a series of live performances and the release of the 7-inch single "Madoka na Yoru/Midnight Subscription", has a live feel as if the band is playing in front of you, is organic, and has a gentle groove and swaying feeling as the performance and singing become one. For this reason, the recording process was based on one-shot recording, including vocals. The lyrics were simpler and more easily conveyed. The image we had in mind was that of coexisting and living in harmony with difficult situations such as loneliness and a sense of entrapment. And from there, the heart opens up...It is our hope that when you finish listening to the album, it will give you a faintly cheerful feeling and give you hope. The completed album is something that will stay with the listener and resonate with them. Music is something that is always by your side. Like a close friend. Music is hope, hope to listen to.
