Chinese progressive metal band [mental illusionism] is going to release its first album in Japan! The album is an ambitious work of self-reflection and expression on the themes of humanity, cognition, emotion, society, and the psyche. The album sets the tone for the entire album, based on the metropolis in which we live, with its "bright and cold buildings, focused and independent souls ....... With hope and courage, we question life and move toward the light." Freedom, conflict, lostness, craving, light and darkness, illusion and reality, doubt and certainty, vulnerability and courage, sin and redemption...... multiple themes, Mentism is motivated by its own keen senses in an endless exploration of the human inner world, survival states, and emotional observations. The six songs, each starting from a different dimension of expression, recreate, reflect, question, and answer their own questions about real life and people's inner worlds with an aural appeal unique to progressive metal. This is the origin of their first album "Light". As the first album of Mentism, "Light" is a journey of exploration of the object and the mind.Propelled by the intense energy of progressive metal, through six independent chapters, it is an endless quest back and forth between past and future, world and self. Returning from this 40-minute, 31-second voyage, the answers in our minds become even clearer. But for them, for us, and for this endless world, this is only the beginning.
