Music is by Ennio Morricone, a master of film music. The film depicts the life of a pianist who was born on the sea and never got off the ship, with a haunting melody. The song "Lost Boys Calling" is a surprise collaboration between Roger Waters, the former Pink Floyd genius, and Edward Van Halen, and was a big hit among music fans. This album has many fans among Morricone's works.
