Description:

Winter Journey" for baritone saxophone and piano by Katsuki Tochio and Yuji Takahashi! The winter is not the winter of a season, but the winter of an era with no exit, the winter of society, the winter of a journey, a journey without end, a journey without end, wandering around in search of flowers, greenery, and birds in the spring I see in my dreams. When I was just in my twenties, I listened to this music until the record was worn out, and a sense of awe, awe that I should not approach it, filled my heart. Katsuki TochioThis performance has no lyrics at all, and Katsuki Tochio plays the melody of the song on his baritone saxophone. Since there are no words, there are no verbal constraints. The listener's own "winter journey" will emerge from this performance. I hope you will listen to it.<Katsuki Tochio studied saxophone under Sakuta Shu, Sakaguchi Arata, and Tomioka Kazuo. 1986 Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, and in the same year won first prize in the "Chamber Music" section of the Min'on Competition.
