But this blues rock movement also produced many rare recordings. Among them, the pinnacle is this 'LEVEE CAMP MOAN'.\n\n\n\nFormed in Blackburn, UK in 1969, this band gained popularity in the local underground scene and released one album through County Recording Services, a self-pressing service company. Encased in a custom sleeve typical of self-released records, most of the stock was sold at local gigs, known only to a select few.Influenced by original blues artists like Otis Rush, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Muddy Waters, and Skip James, while drawing on the style of contemporary bands like Candle Heat and Savoy Brown, this sound synthesizes into first-rate blues rock.
