This is a stereo broadcast of the radio program \"Nine O'Clock Jazz\" on KRO (Catholic Radio Broadcasting) recorded at \"VARA Studio Sessions\" in Hilversum, Holland in April and November 1979. Baker's trumpet and vocals can be heard to their heart's content in this quartet formation led by Baker. Both sessions were originally produced by performer Edwin Rutten. This is the first time that these recordings have been officially released on the Jazz Detective label, produced by Zev Feldman and Frank Jochemsen, who have been contracted to discover masterpieces on the Jazz Detective label.In April 1979, Zev Feldman, who was doing his best to contribute to Chet's legacy with \"Live in Paris,\" released on Elemental in 2022, was fortunate enough to stumble upon this recording while searching for other previously unreleased recordings. The album features a total of 11 songs, mostly familiar standards.
