Description:

Daniele Guasino is an Italian-born composer currently based in France. He collaborates with musicians and choreographers of various genres and is active in a wide range of French art scenes. His music is closer to jazz, rock, and free music rather than academic contemporary music. This album for acoustic instruments and electronics is vibrant and reminiscent of the American counterculture of the 1970s, including Terry Riley. The instrument used in this album, the bansuri, is an Indian transverse flute, and the kora is an African lute-like stringed instrument.
