Bach's secular cantata BWV 204 was written around 1726-27, when many cantatas for solo voices were written, and is an impressive work with arias in which the flauto traverso (baroque flute) solo plays a prominent role.The same Traverso's lively interplay with the violin in Vivaldi's Chamber Concerto and Handel's Concerto for Ensemble, as well as the skillful expression of the timbres of each instrument, are also fascinating.
