Description:
The chorus of keyboard harmonica is like an organ registration! Bach:Goltberg Variations (Melodica) Second Goltberg Demolition Book following Mizunako Tsukatani Toy Piano!A kaleidoscope of Ken Hamo music born because of the 2020 disaster retraction! The entire Bach Goltberg Variations on Melodica, similar to the previous Goltberg Variations on Toy Piano [red disc/recorded in 2018 (PCD-1812)]. Musicians' music and concert activities are on the verge of death. How are musicians supposed to spend these months? How should they spend their time? So, I decided to change my mindset and stay indoors and take my time to create something, and that is how the Ken Hamo Goltberg Variations on the keyboard harmonica began. Tsukatani spent a total of five months in a studio at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake from early summer of 2020, painstakingly dismantling and reconstructing a large piece of music called the Golteberg Variations to replace it with 76 Kenjamos, and produced it using multiple recordings. Finally, it was completed. Editing and mastering was done by Saburo Shigata.Keyboard harmonica (Keyhamo/Kenhamo): Hohner and others in Europe and the U.S. → Melodica, SUZUKI → Melodeon, YAMAHA and others → Pianica, and other product names vary. Mizunako Tsukatani graduated from the Department of Music at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, and moved to the Netherlands. She studied pipe organ, composition, and improvisation under Jos van der Kooij, piano and chamber music under Wim Rässink, and harpsichord under Robert Kohnen. He has performed at the Royal Concertgebouw, the Netherlands National Opera, and many other European venues, and has given many world premieres of commissioned works. She has appeared on programs such as Music Bird and Ottava, and has been interviewed by newspapers and magazines in Japan and abroad. His repertoire is diverse, ranging from ancient to contemporary music to Ghibli. His four albums of Bach's "Golteberg Variations" as his life's work, including the first Japanese recording of the pipe organ, the difficult-to-play Positif Organ, the piano version of Busoni's arrangement, and the toy piano (Pooh's Hoop), which is registered on instruments from around the world, have received rave reviews in various music magazines.
