The recordings are a \"world heritage\" masterpiece, the fruit of his long musical experience and deep insight. These early stereo masterpieces were recorded with state-of-the-art equipment and technology at the American Legion Hall, which has excellent acoustics, through a series of meticulous rehearsals and sessions with the Columbia Symphony Orchestra, which was specially organized for this purpose. These are newly remixed and remastered for the first time in 21 years since 1998, and are available for distribution from the \"Bruno Walter All Stereo Recordings SA-CD Hybrid Edition\" (7 volumes, released 2019-20), which won a special category and special award at the 58th \"Record Academy Awards\" in 2020. Symphony No. 4, which took six days to complete all four movements, is considered the masterpiece of Walter's recordings from his final years. In this symphony, which tends to be austere and tragic, Walter's natural and extended romanticism still retains a freshness.The youthful energy that pervades the tense, tragic overture is hard to believe in an elderly conductor over 80 years old. ● Japan-specific project ● DSD remastering (2019\/20)\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Sony Music","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":40179859456060,"sku":"4547366527728","price":17.95,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/products\/4547366527728.jpg?v=1655369632","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-fr\/products\/4547366527728","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
