At the same time, the things I have cherished will be cherished by someone else. And someday, they’ll be passed on to that person’s loved ones. I believe music has the power to connect people to one another, and the past to the future, in just that way. This album features songs I’ve cherished and sung over the years, as well as new songs that I could only create as the person I am today.\nThis is not a collection that simply replicates music from the past or compiles old material. While inheriting the universal charm of music that has endured across the ages, I’ve shaped it into new music using my own sensibilities and sound as someone living in the present.\nBorn in the Showa era, debuting in the Heisei era, and becoming a singer-songwriter in the Reiwa era—I’m proud to say this is a work that only Sayaka Kamizono could create.
