The Berlin-based string quartet was founded in 2019. Leoncolo means lion heart in Esperanto. = Or perhaps children's author Astrid Lindgren has a work about two brothers called "Brothers in Faraway Land (English title, Brothers Lionheart)". The twin themes of the irresistible reality of death and the heartfelt longing for healing and comfort are familiar to performers.
