He is also a member of the Ensemble Intercontemporain, and is recognized worldwide as a specialist in contemporary music with his unparalleled interpretations of works by Boulez, Berio, Ligeti, and Stockhausen, as well as Haydn, the brilliantly colored Debussy, and Chopin on the fortepiano.
