In recent years, thanks to an increase in recordings, his works have gradually become more widely known.\nThis album features works for violin, cello, and piano composed between 1915 and 1946. Centered around *7 Ricercari*, which reinterprets the contrapuntal techniques of Italian early music, the album features works such as *Canon*, *Elegy*, and *2 Interludes*, showcasing the broad spectrum of Gedini’s compositional style.\nThe performances are by Trio Vazari, formed in 2024 by violinist Sara Pastine, cellist Natania Hoffman, and pianist Giulia Contaldo. The group evolved from the Pastine-Contardo Duo, formed in 2016 and a recipient of awards at chamber music competitions both in Italy and abroad, and has performed at music festivals throughout Italy and internationally.
