The 37th collection contains three cantatas: No. 65, No. 49, and No. 114. No. 65, \"They All Come from Sheba,\" was first performed on January 6, 1724. It is a cheerful cantata based on the episode of the arrival of the doctors from the East who offered gold, frankincense, and fornication to the newborn Jesus in the manger. The original parts are lost, and the final chorale in the autograph score has no lyrics written on it, so the lyrics to Paul Gerhardt's \"In the hearts and thoughts of God I am Ich hab in Gottes Herz und Sinn,\" usually written on the score by someone believed to be the Zing Academy's conductor, C.F. Zelter, were used. Sinn\" by Paul Gerhardt, but this album uses the opening lines of \"Hier ist mein Herz, Herr, nimm es hin, this is my heart, O Lord\" by Sebastian Franck, a German human rights activist. No. 49, \"I walk in hope, I seek\" is a cantata for the 20th Sunday after Trinity, November 3, 1726.The work follows a tradition in which the music is driven by a dialogue between the bass (Jesu) and the soprano (believing soul). It depicts the holy marriage of Jesus and the soul, and is characterized by the use of gorgeous sounds throughout. The organ is also an active part of the music. Nuria Real's limpid singing adds to the splendor of the work. No. 114 \"Oh, beloved Christians, be at peace\" is a chorale cantata for October 1, 1724, the 17th Sunday after Trinity. The fourth chorale is based on the famous words, \"If a grain of wheat fall to the ground and do not die, it is only one thing; if it dies, it bears much fruit\" (Jn. 12:24), and the overall atmosphere of this piece is austere because of its commandment theme. The chorale at the end is modest, but it sings of confident faith in God. Naxos Japan\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"J.S.
