After attending Jamaica's Alpha Boys School, which produced many of the famous musicians that give this album its title, Deadly Headley Bennett went on to back such stars as Bob Marley and Alton Ellis during the 1960s and '70s, and then to play with the likes of Sound Released in 1982, this album was produced by Adrian Sherr-Wood and produced by Headley Lee. Produced by Adrian Sherr-Wood, the album was a showcase of Headley Bennett's unique talents, and brought together for this set an elite group of the time, including Style Scott, Bim Sherman, George Oban, Lizard Logan, Crucial Tony, and Bonjo Ayabingi Noah.
