It is performed by the Estonian trio Harry Traksman, Rejo Kalin, and Marito Gerez-Traksman. They play a wide range of Thule music and have participated in early ECM albums such as \"Crystallisatio\" and \"Oxymoron\". The Germany-based Signum String Quartet performs Toure's String Quartet No. 2, \"Lost Prayers,\" and violinist Florian Dondaler of the Signum Quartet also performs \"Synergie\" with cellist Tanya Tetzlaff. With just three or four instruments, you can create a rich and deep sonic palette,\" Dondaler said. All the players share Toole's view that \"three or four instruments are all that is needed to create a rich and deep sonic palette, not necessarily a full orchestra in order to manipulate a powerful soundscape. This album was recorded in Sendesar, Bremen, Germany.
