The quartet consists of Koster, standup bass player Gauvain Gamon, drummer Kolja Gjoni, and pianist Benji Miller. Koster stumbled upon Gamon and Gjoni playing Gershwin and Mingus while walking in New York City's Central Park, and when Miller joined them, a musical partnership was born.The album also features Koster's longtime collaborators Robbie Cucchairo (horns) and Thomas Hughes (orchestral arranging \/ chimes) of The Music Tapes. The music they make together is both familiar and unrecognizable.
