Between two such outstanding piano concertos by Mozart, the concerto is simultaneously accompanied by a work by Bernard Reichel (1901-1992), who was born in Switzerland and was composing in Geneva. Reichel continued the tradition of Mozart's concerto symphonies, and his excellent works are not at odds alongside Mozart's works, but make the audience think of them as equal works.
