Born and raised in Reykjavik, he started playing with the experimental electronic act Ghostigital at the age of 10.He also opened for Radiohead and Red Hot Chilli Peppers at their hometown shows with the post-punk unit Fufanu. The band supported Blur at Hyde Park and played festivals including Primavera Sound, Rock Werchter, Musilac, and Down The Rabbit Hole.
