Campbell-Lyons began writing the songs for this album while dealing with personal issues, which would ultimately be reflected in the tone of the album: although released in 1971 under the name Nirvana (UK), what we have here is something completely different. Breaking away from what they had done up to that point, they created an experimental progressive work that was worthy of being released on the Vertigo label. Musically, the album has been derided as \"something Frank Zappa would do,\" and while it explores the same boundaries as Zappa's work and moves away from the pop sensibility that has been a hallmark of his work, it is a truly unique piece.\n\n\n\nPianist\/keyboardist PATRICK JOSEPH \"PETE\" KELLY provides support, and TONY DUHIG, who played in the pre-Nirvana (UK) band \"SECOND THOUGHTS\" and also in JADE WARRIOR, joins the band to complete the LP.
